• About me, the Artist !�

• At college I had always been interested in art but my passion for animals won me over�and I studied animal care. Having learnt�how to restrain pigs and pressure wash surfaces I decided I would put my new found�knowledge to great use and become a mother and housewife!�

•  

• �I�continued my art as a hobby and in 2001 I started painting ceramics in my spare time. My daughter was only 6 months old then and I would take her with me to local markets and craft fairs.

•  

• As my business grew I was able to attend larger county shows and I began stocking shops and galleries. Following the arrival of my second child�my brother-in-law�helped me to set up my first website enabling me to sell from home. This was launched�in 2003. Continuing success has enabled me to expand my range and offer this new exciting more interactive website!��

• Many of my earlier designs�were inspired by years spent living in a rural village in Dorset. During this time my father started keeping bees, hence the busy bees design, and life was spent surrounded by sheep, hence my group graze sheep design. My children have been of great inspiration throughout the development of other designs.

• We�moved to Cornwall in 2003 to be nearer family and this is where I now live with my�husband and�three children.

•  

• Living in� a county steeped in maritime history, has�inspired the creation�of my�latest designs, Falmouth and Beach Huts.

•  

• I also undertake�special commissions�that�allow me the freedom of design and I greatly enjoy this part of my work.
